The Perlman Music Program(PMP) was founded by Toby Perlman in 1994. She is the Founder, Co-Chair, and Director of the organization. The programs headquarter is at Shelter Island, New York.

It offers unparalleled musical training to young and aspiring string players. The faculty consists of some of the greatest sought after tutors, led by none other than the virtuoso Itzhak Perlman. Its programs consist of Summer Music School, Chamber Music Workshop, Life-Long Mentorship, and Travel Residencies.

Mrs. Perlman was only 19 when she used a cafeteria napkin at the Juilliard School to outline what she’d do if she had her own music camp.

And now, 25 years since it’s the establishment, PMP has made a name as one of the finest in its field.
